Bethesda Studios has released an official launch date trailer on March 8, 2023, announcing that their much-anticipated open-world adventure Starfield will release on September 6, 2023. Game Director Todd Howard will also host a Starfield Direct event on June 11, 2023 following the Xbox Games Showcase. Howard stated this will be a brief introduction to its universe and features.
“There’s so much that we still have to show you. The game has many of the hallmarks that you'd expect from us, but it’s also a very unique experience," Howard says.
Starfield has been long-awaited by fans as the newest franchise entering Bethesda's sizable catalog alongside the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. After multiple delays from November 11, 2022 into the first half of 2023, fans will finally have an official release and upcoming teasers to look forward to.
Starfield will be released for PC and Xbox Series X/S as an exclusive title.
