According to Infinity Ward, the beta will also allow for cross-platform play between differing consoles and systems, making it easier than ever to squad up with your friends when the dates for open betas on varying devices begin.

New and Familiar Features, Maps, Gamemodes and More

Gamers will have their hands full for the beta, where they'll be met with new guns, new loadout options, new attachments, new and familiar maps with new spins on them from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and plenty of game modes to boot. The beta appears to be full of various options to try as much as possible before the release.

Early Campaign Access

Along with an ever-expansive and realistic take on modern combat, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will also feature new ways to play the campaign mode, such as an open-ended style of play that allows the player to make decisions on how to play or how to go about missions. Different playthroughs can now offer new ways to play and potentially unique outcomes to the story for the first time ever.

To kick off the jam-packed month before its worldwide release, Infinity Ward will host a live-streamed event offering a first look at the gameplay, story, multiplayer beta and new features before kicking off the pre-order beta.
