System Shock Remake Delayed for May 2023

On March 14, developer Nightdive Studios has officially announced that their upcoming remake of the popular 1994 sci-fi/horror game System Shock has been officially delayed to May 30, 2023.

After years of anticipation and development that set up for a March 2023 release alongside a February 2023 demo, Nightdive Studios expressed that the game is nearing full completion for its slated PC release, along with a console release shortly after.

In their statement, Nightdive Studios stated that the new remake will feature "stunning HD visuals, revamped controls, and a totally new interface" along with the familiar gameplay and story that made System Shock an exciting game ahead of its time.

System Shock (2023) will now release on May 30, 2023 exclusively on PC on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store. Its upcoming release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be announced at a later date.
